Dr. Bellows needs a psychiatrist
kevinolzak13 November 2016
"My Master, the Magician" opens with Major Nelson working late in his office, Jeannie providing a 50 course meal as a snack, silently observed by Dr. Bellows. Waking up an angry General Peterson, the two walk in on Tony, not having an orgy with a girl in a harem costume, but with a solitary janitor (William Benedict) finishing up after 45 minutes. As if this isn't bad enough, the doctor next catches Tony floating in midair, forcing him to put on a magic act for NASA. A professional magician, Nestor the Great (Chet Stratton), sits in the audience, able to expose a phony when he sees one. This is exactly what Major Nelson wants, his levitation machine set up a fellow sergeant (Don Mitchell), only for Dr. Bellows to insist on him floating without it. Nestor assures the doctor that no magician can duplicate the trick, when one blink from Jeannie finds him floating as well!

More trouble for Major Nelson

Been watching some IDOJ lately, sort of a nostalgic binging if you may. Now I do like the show and can put up with some really bad episodes but this one really irritates me. Why does Dr. Bellows always walk into Tony's house like he lives there???

What trouble would Tony have gotten in simply cause he was levitating? Nestor the Great makes no sense on this episode either, so what if he can spot a fraud Tony never claimed to be a professional magician.

Just wonder what the writers were thinking, so far this is the worst episode in season 1.
