Series was really rolling

Great beginning to an awesome story. The 4 Horsemen were perfectly cast. Their characters each have a roll on the team that fills a niche. MacLeod is true to form- too noble to comprehend the atrocities committed by a man he called friend, in a time before civility was part of civilization. This makes for drama between them and shows the effect immoral behavior should have on us all.

Ancient immortals reunited

Warning: Spoilers
1. We see the Four Horsemen back together again. Cassandra is here too hoping to get revenge for atrocities committed thousands of years ago. With the four horsemen and Cassandra we have what is probably the assembled group of the oldest immortals in Highlander. Duncan is just a youngster by comparison. 2. Methos, who is a constant mystery, eventually helps Duncan to stop the Four Horsemen from committing mass murder, and we get to see two simultaneous quickenings after two ancient immortals die. 3. I agree with the writer of another review that these two episodes should have been worked into three episodes. There was plenty of story to work with. At the end of this episode Duncan probably still has mixed emotions about everything that he is recently learned about Methos.
