Warning: Spoilers
Ted owes his ex alimony.

He devises a scheme to get the campers to pay up for him, but is caught.

He tells Jeff a story about putting the money on the horses to make more money, then when the horse comes thru, Ted says that Spike didn't make the bet in time.

So now Spike knows the truth and is disappointed in Ted. Jeff and Gloria know Ted is lying as well, but how can they get him to divulge it.

An elderly couple, who oddly enough appeared in the first episode as well, return to the camp with a story about being robbed and being unable to visit their daughter in Canada.

In the end, Ted does the right thing.

Amusing bit as Peggy uses a phone receiver as a microphone to sing and perform, then Jeffrey must speak to the person at the other end of the phone.

Probably an operator.

As Ted will tell Gloria in "If Wet - In The Ballroom" 'Spike can't be bribed.' We see that here as well.
