The first five minutes hurt this one...but it's still nice to see Dr. Ormsbee return

While I am a big fan of "Hawaii Five-O", I must admit that occasionally the writing slipped up a bit--with some serious logical errors. Think about it--when the show begins, some vulcanologist just happens to go into a crater where several dead men are concealed. Here's where it gets WILDLY improbable. Not only did someone decide to put the bodies inside the crater using a helicopter, but they didn't bother to toss them into the lava (thus eliminating all traces of the deaths) but stacked them up nicely! Does this make any sense? They go to all the trouble of using a helicopter but just leave the bodies in a manner in which they could be discovered?! Despite this very dopey opening scene, the show has two things going for it. First, the plot that involves some folks making nuclear weapons to be sold to the highest bidders was pretty timely and chilling. And, second, it makes the return of one of the better characters seen in the show--the always obnoxious Dr. Ormsbee (Pat Hingle). His brusque and ill-mannered personality was quite enjoyable. Worth seeing overall.
