A confined space, a malfunctioning lift, a cross-section of personalities and a superlative Galton and Simpson script add up to a perfect Hancock scenario. In this one, the wonderfully mordant humour and interplay are a joy; the best line is delivered by the Doctor (Colin Gordon),who, after a tetchy exchange with our hero, rejoins with "I think we've all reached an opinion as to what you are".....phenomenal stuff.
