The One With Christmas...

Warning: Spoilers
I really enjoyed this episode. I love themed episodes, so of course, a Christmas episode is usually one of my favorites from the season. This one is pretty good. It's got funny moments, and an enjoyable storyline.

In this episode, it's Christmas, and not everyone is excited. Izzy is looking after her patient, a man who fell off his roof, while hanging Christmas decorations. Cristina helps convince a child to actually get the heart transplant he needs. George's family is still driving him nuts.

Overall, I give this episode a 7 out of 10, which in my ratings book is: Great.

Burke is so sweet and domestic, and Cristina does not appreciate it at all.... in this episode she's even insulting him, making a fool of him in his OR. It's a shame, really... he should be with someone who can aporeciate what a great boyfriend he is. But then again; their differences is one of the things that makes them so great to watch. Like oil and water.

Great episode, great cases. Really good acting all over. Chandra Wilson is doing a fine job being over worked and tired as a pregnant Miranda.

The interns are forming a great bond, it's sweet.

I feel bad for Addison, she is really trying to fix things. Yet, the chemistry between Meredith and Derek is so strong and undeniable.

A good episode

The main thing I'd like to discuss is how there are multiple sources of what people believe in when it comes to medicine. There's so many different studies which showed how religion and even religious music can alter a person's mindset to a certain survival mode. Therefore, as a doctor, I believe that Christina's perspective was inept. She should have done research and seen how one cannot just believe in medicine because the lives of so many people are in their hands but also in the patients' hands. They are the ones who want to survive and that boy didn't believe in survival. He believed in nothing until Christina eventually understood that a belief in God could help her and help anybody coming into the hospital to believe in their survival. I'm infuriated by her lack of optimism because she is one of the smartest interns I've seen on this show. She should know better and I'm glad her boyfriend Burke is helping her learn. Everybody else in this episode seemed to have faith in something other than medicine which made me have hope in doctors.

An episode worth watching, because one person made an appearance.

I do not watch "Greys Anatomy" on a regular basis. I just never cared much for it. We have had many other medical dramas such as "ER". I was not considering any such time to spend with this particular episode, until I discovered that Helen Slater, a dear favorite of mine, was amongst the guest stars. I actually realized that this show has real characters, who were more than just contrived characters for a ratings fanatic sweep. After "Desperate Housewives", ABC was too obvious in their ways to keep up the big numbers. In any case, this show has some real humor and interest within it, and I will never judge a book like this by its cover. I can't speak much for the main cast, but I will say, that Sandra Oh is always a delight to watch, as is Patrick Dempsey, whom starred with guest star Slater in "Happy Together" in 1989. The stories were more intense, and Helen Slater was more so acknowledged, but still brilliant with effortless gravitation as she is on screen.

Cristina had a really kind conversation with Justin. Derek tells that Meredith wasn't a fling for him, he was in love with her. Nice Episode of Grey's Anatomy Season 2, really emotional Episode with the subject religious. Justin survived it after the heart surgery, Cristina was so kind to him!
