Swan Song

Warning: Spoilers
Jess shows his true immature colors in this episode. He shows up to Friday night dinner and acts like a complete jerk, it physically hurts to watch. He tells Luke that his black eye came from a swan and sets out to prove it so that's pretty funny. I love that Emily is so pleasant during the disastrous dinner with Jess but then completely snaps on Lorelai. Then, after all is said and done- Rory tells Lorelai that she's thinking about being intimate with Jess... what?! No Rory.

Warning: Spoilers
ISmellPoop, yes, we knwo that is the title of this episode, and no, this is not a summary section, this is a REVIEW section, get it in your head already.

Well, there is something that bothers me a lot and is the fact that Emily is alone shunned like an outcast away from the family every time that old wench of Richard's mother is in town. I hate men like Richard. I hate when the mother of the house is not respected by her daughter and granddaughter. What is she afraid of? Richard asking her the divorce because she stand her ground? Because she don't put all the horrible gifts that horrendous and rude woman gifted? I don't get the attitude Lorelai and Rory have towards Emily. Dismissive of the insults and bad treatments the old woman give to Emily. I swear! And worse of all: she's going to die and Emily did nothing to avenge her.. no catharsis!!

Then for some reason Rory decided to tell Emily that she has a new boyfriend.. what did she expected? Emily not inviting him? Of course she will!. So for some reason, Rory decided to invite Jess.

I have never get the whole "dinner with parents" thing. Looking back, I don't get why people do it. And friday night dinners are horrible for boyfriends so, we can expect a horrible dinner, or maybe an awkward one?

Thinking about Rory and Jess relationship.. they have so much passion.. (maybe because the actors were an item in real life?) why do we have to expect that they don't have.. s3x?

But the talk about it came up since Lorelai saw the 2 kissing on Luke's home.. and Rory told her that she will know if she's going to loose her virginity. Gross. Talk about no boundaries and cringiness there.

At Emily's house, Lorelai had to go on a trip with her new boy toy, and it is going to be only Rory and Jess. He comes late with a black eye. He don't wants to explain what happened to his eye, so Rory assume the worse and stayed mad with him, ruining the mood. Since Jess didn't wanted to go to that dinner in the first place, why would she be such a brat and at least put a façade like Emily put to herself that night?

Luke take the truth out of Jess's mouth: it was a swan the culprit behind the black eye. It was really funny because i'm just studying about verbs and how nouns and other words can become a verb if they add a suffix.. and what Luke said was really funny "I've just never heard anyone use the word beaked as a verb before" holding back laughter.

Then they had a nice talk about how not to scare Rory away with his tough attitude.

Then we see Rory talking with Lane. She was assembling the drums back at Lorelai's garage where the band get together to play and I'm wondering: where did she got that drum set???

Tin finalize the episode, after a fiery kiss, Rory was sure she might have s3x with Jess, so, she told Lorelai, and after the cringy interchanging of words, they started eating the food that was too much and for some reason have enough money to pay for. Then, Lorelai hug Rory and she back.
