Mummy Dearest

Warning: Spoilers
Max is sent to a museum that is suspected to be involved in the disappearance of several CONTROL agents. When Agent 24 disappears in the middle of a meeting with Max, the Chief knows KAOS must be involved. So he sends Max back, thinly disguised in a mustache.

Easily seeing through his disguise is Miss Smith (the lovely Lisa Gaye!)who recognizes Max from his pictures in a Spy fan magazine advertising a top secret decoder. Max recruits Miss Smith for help, not suspecting she is really one of KAOS' top agents.

Taking advantage of 99's absence in this episode (this is actually a three episode run without Barbara Feldon) Max invites Miss Smith to his apartment to tell her what she knows. There they do a new twist on the old drugged drink bit, in which BOTH drinks are drugged.

It turns out KAOS is using mummy cases to secretly ship CONTROL agents out of the country and have Max pegged as the next victim. Since 99 appears to be occupied elsewhere (it is strange her absence is not mentioned) its up to the Chief to come to Max's rescue. Funny stuff follows after Max takes a immobilizer that keeps him motionless (except for his ability to talk for some reason) for a week. Unable to do anything, the Chief suggests now would be a good time for Max to take his vacation.
