Oh Susannah, what have you gotten yourself into?

Warning: Spoilers
The performances of Delta Burke and Connie Lew play Michael McDonald shine in this brilliantly heartbreaking episode that is filled with Pathos and laughs and lots of love. The selfish Suzanne shows that she truly has a big heart hidden underneath her huge ego and even bigger hair as she takes in an adorable orphaned Vietnamese child Li Sing (Lew) ho text to Suzanne instantly calling her mama and breaking into song as a tribute to the woman she thinks is adopting her. It's only a temporary arrangement as the actual legal parents aren't able to take her in for a month. Julia is worried that Suzanne is in over her head, especially when Li Sing shows up wearing the exact same designer outfits as Suzanne with her hair equally as big.

Equal to the episode set on New Year's Eve 1989 where Charlene had her baby, this one shows the heart of each of the women as well as Anthony, all of them adoring Li Sing, but aware that this will have to come to an end soon. This is one where you'll be laughing and crying at the same time, and an important one to remember for any time when Suzanne asked selfish that underneath it is a woman with a lot of love to give, but sadly unable to sustain it in most cases, with Li Sing probably the only exception had she actually adopted her. The emotional highlight of the show is Julia's conversation with Suzanne when she refuses to come back, and that leads to the teary-eyed finale with Burke and Lew bidding each other farewell.
