A very amusing episode where Dennis' friends cause the trouble. The boys obtain an old washing machine, set up in Tommy's garage. Mrs. Wilson asks Dennis to take John's tuxedo to the cleaners to remove a spot. Dennis figures he can do this himself--knowing not to put it in the washer.
But while he goes to get a spot remover, the other boys find the tux and stuff it in the machine. Having heard that his dad is not going to the big dinner that night, Dennis figures to solve the immediate problem by switching his dad's tux for Wilson's.
This starts a merry mix-up, with Wilson trying on his tux, finding it too tight, then Henry changing his mind, finding the tux Dennis slyly substituted too large, and Dennis keeps so busy switching the three tuxedos around he never gets to eat or have a snack.
I thought the actions of Dennis were almost totally logical, troubled only by him not realizing that his dad and Mr. Wilson would not likely both fit into the same tuxedo. Scenes were played out in ways that were quite believable, with the conclusion being what you would have expected.
