Mr. Wilson's birthday is on the back burner as he tries to get rid of starlings. Fun ensues with a stellar cast. Mary Wickes is always memorable. Also welcome is Forrest Lewis. He and Roscoe Kairns were great in Man's Favorite Sport. It shows you can have a hobby and it can interfere with another hobby. A song from the Great American Songbook. Joseph Kearns carries the episode as usual. It's thankless playing a spinster. Wickes does it brilliantly. It doesn't make sense to have these word minimums. Of course, any solution on this show is bound to create other problems. I am coming to the view the first season is the best.
