One of the best episodes has a kind of handing-off device in this case a bottle of whiskey that winds up in the hands of two different bums at two different times, killing both of them and it was meant for a doctor played by Fritz Weaver who, married to Sheilah Wells and having possibly knocked up ENTER THE DRAGON ingenue Ahna Capri while married to Susan Oliver, is both on the run and searching for whoever might have set him up but, as always on this series, Burt Reynolds' title character had known him before... we don't learn till the end exactly how... but there's a great twist ending and the three blondes are pretty in each their own way.
