Dance, Diane, Dance (#5.12)

Warning: Spoilers
Diane has been taken ballet classes. The assistant of her teacher comes to Cheers to bring by the analysis of her dancing video. The guys take it but they don't want to upset Diane and rewrite the analysis to make it more positive. After this she thinks that maybe she should pursue her dream of becoming a dancer and goes to audition for Boston Ballet group, Frasier and Sam try to prevent this.

Another fun episode. Marilyn Lightstone who was Leeza did a great job, she had an actual Russian accent. And it was pretty funny how she said that Diane should not dance anymore. And of course how they were watching her video was very funny as well.

Poor Diane
Hitchcoc23 August 2019
Diane is an interesting character. She has great admiration for art, music, theatre, and in this one, dance. The problem with Diane is that she is like most of us. Her admiration for these things in no way give her any skill. She writes poetry--it never gets published. She acts but is not good at it. Here, she has had a bit of dance training, but she has no real talent. She truly believes she has these talents and it is quite sad at time. It is still fun watching her determination.
