Toody: A Man With An Eye For Art?
ccthemovieman-14 May 2011
Warning: Spoilers
If I ever hear "Lower Manhattan at sunset (from the New Jersey Shore)" I will forever think of this episode.

Toody has the eye of a man who understands modern (a.k.a. "abstract") art. He winds up with a piece from starving artist "Karpathia," and then, because his wife Lucille refused to have it in her house, he uses it as the winning prize in the cops' Brotherhood Club drawing.

The predictable winner in the drawing was "Schnauser" the guy who claimed earlier he was the unluckiest man in the world, that no one in the history of family won anything. Thus, you knew he would win.

But the prize? How does he take it? Uh.....not too well.....until he finds out the painting is valuable but chaos has ensued in the meantime. This is a very funny episode.

Note: I never get tired of hearing Lucille shouting out the window, "Listen, America: my husband is a nut!" nor the "Sad Sack" looks on Muldoon's face when he's not too happy. Both always make me laugh out loud.
