Stairway To Heaven

A young married woman is lying dead at the bottom the stairs, head and torso perfectly in line and with tons of blood. The husband had frantically called the paramedics but the woman's body shows it was an hour before the man called for help.

The three main questions are: 1 - did she fall down the steep stairs and kill herself? 2 - did she fall up the stairs (they show how that could happen) and kill herself? 3 - Did someone kill her at the bottom of the stairs, hitting her with a blunt object?

As the story unravels, we get some of the normal kinky sex angles this show seems to revel in the past few years, such as the husband getting turned on my another woman biting him (hence the title of the episode). It gets intriguing when it's discover the husband's first wive was also found dead at the bottom of stairs...but that doesn't necessarily make him the killer.

"We may have our first serial stairway killer," says medical examiner "Dr. Robbins," in the best line of the show.

This type of plot has been done before on this show. It works but I had a good idea who was guilty from the get go. It involves the death of an attractive woman from seemingly falling down some stairs. The title come from the husband's propensity for having his partners bite him in bed. As the plot develops we find that the whole husband-wife relationship had interesting factors that led to her possible murder.

A man called Ray Lester desperately dies 911 asking for paramedics since his wife Becky had had an accident on the back staircase. Ray is covered in blood from his wife and Brass and the entire CSI team arrive to investigate the house. Brass interviews Ray, who tells him that he and Becky went out to dinner and then had some drinks by the pool. His daughter from the first marriage, Susan, called and asked to talk to Becky, who took the call in the house. Ray fell asleep by the pool and later he found Becky on the staircase. Along the investigation, Catherine leans that Becky was frigid and the last time they had sex was four years ago. Ray met a woman in Internet that likes to bite him but they did not had sex. Meanwhile Dr. Robbins finds semen in Becky's vagina, indicating that she was active and was cheating on Ray. Now the team has many possibilities for the death and proceeds the investigation.

"Bite Me" is an episode of "CSI" hard to be resolved. There are different versions for the case and the ADA Sinclair and Ecklie are pressing for the results. The funny part is when Grissom recalls Led Zeppelin's Stairway to Heaven when he sees the body of Becky on the staircase. My vote is seven.
