The Police have handed off vehicle towing services to an external company, but they're receiving complaints about heavy handedness, and cars suddenly moving.
This was a great episode, it's the first time we've seen Derek central to events for some time, and the first story of politics over policing for a while also, plenty going on, lots to keep you entertained, and some well realised characters.
If ever you've had your car taken away, you can understand the frustrations felt by the victim of the piece.
Worth watching for Michelle Gomez alone, Penny Grice isn't in it a great deal, but when she is she's excellent, I loved the scene where she put Derek in his place. It's crazy how she changes so little with time.
Michael Attwell and Joe Absolom are both great here also, the latter appeared in so many episodes.
9/10.
