A journalist shadows Hollis and Skase, to get a true flavour for crime in Sun Hill.
It's a good watch, I think this shows something of a switch in attitudes, it's about this point that fly on the wall stuff was becoming a lot more popular, people wanted the inside view on things as it were, this felt like the show's response to that.
It is one of the more tongue in cheek episodes, the villains are pretty much caricatures, and the scenes of the boys showing off to Jane are amusing, but it's very different, it feels original.
Serena Gordon is great here as enthusiastic journalist Jane, she'd appear as a regular years later as Prosser, she's good here, perhaps a little wasted in this role.
8/10.
