After the disappointing "Sentries of the Last Cosmos" episode, this really was well deserved payback. The writing showcases what makes Batman Beyond so good, because it focuses on the relationship between Bruce and Terry when working together as a team which doesn't always go smootly.
Add in a good villain who has good motives for doing what he does and contributing to the growth of both Terry and Bruce in one way or another.
All this and some good doses of great action scenes including jumping on cars to wreck them, ruining a grocery store and tearing down half a building. Oh, and not to forget, the overall message is a reminder to us all about our loved ones.
