Old Mr Grace is not happy with Mr Rumbold when he hears of the day's figures on the Ladies and Gents department. It's tiddling outside, it's the middle of a recession and the team haven't sold a thing. Mr Rumbold suggests a few changes on the floor and the team descend into a large argument, Old Mr Grace witnesses this scene and suggests moving them to the basement, and cutting their wages by ten percent. In protest the team go on a roof top demonstration to air their views, but who can hear their grievances?
Front Page story had been the sparkling moment in what had frankly been quite a tired series, the material hasn't felt particularly fresh or original, and the Sit out is ultimately another plodder, some nice moments, I like the scene in which Captain Peacock pairs up with Mrs Slocombe to protest at Mr Humphries bid to sell them something. Aside from that and a few other minor laughs it's far from a classic, but not terrible either. 6/10
