Jack Albertson shows up in Mayberry, emerging from a boxcar. He is supposedly Bee's rich cousin. He makes a big splash, but Andy caught him entering town and has agreed to keep his true identity secret if he minds his business. Unfortunately, he is an overblown windbag who can't help himself.

Mostly Jack Albertson's slick talking

Some of the color episodes rely on awkward situations or uncomfortableness rather than heavy laughs. This episode was memorable for Jack Albertson's appearance. He certainly was a skilled speaker who avoided masterfully to be pinned down. Opie the pest appears bringing to light the lack of copper mines in a Mexican town discussed. Clara is on the ball with suspicion early. Andy never really investigated cousin Bradford's possible criminal history available at his fingertips being a sheriff. The conservative townspeople again are more than happy to invest their money in a highly speculative investment very few questions asked. Fun episode but nothing spectacular.
