After doing some quick research, I see that this was the final appearance of Bert Mustin(Mr. Quigley), who would pass away less than a year later, and was 92 years old in this episode! Considering that, I felt that he did a credible job in his short scene with Archie, as they shared an interesting scene together. This is also the final episode for Billy Halop(Munson), and Bob Hastings(Kelsey); this is Halop's final acting credit, as he would pass away only 9 months later. The fact that 3 characters would make their final appearance in the same show is an odd coincidence. The gist revolves around a "plump" Archie needing to lose some weight, as his family, including Mike, are trying to shed some pounds with him to help motivate him. There's some funny moments around the dinner table, and an even funnier moment when Archie decides to skip his diet, and then vows to eat all the junk food in town. I would hesitate to call this a memorable episode, or even among my favorites, but it's nice seeing some minor characters get one final bow. Lastly, there's a very nice moment between Archie and Edith which ends the episode on a good note.
