Strongest episode so far.
Sleepin_Dragon5 February 2023
King Arthur's Cousin Mordred kidnaps Queen Guinevere, imprisons Sir Lancelot, and demands Arthur give up his Kingdom of Northumbria, land and Castle.

Perhaps the best of the first three episodes, I think this was perhaps the best of the opening trio, and had some quite good aspects. First of all, the fight sequences, they actually looked quite good this time around, especially compared to the previous episode's scenes.

Brian, I was a little critical of him in the previous episode, but he proved his worth here, and whilst he may not have had a lot of physical strength, he did at least use his cunning.

Brian Worth made for a good Mordred, William Russell continued to impress as the dashing Sir Lancelot.

Pretty good.

7/10.

The Queen's Knight
Prismark1028 June 2020
A rival of King Arthur takes advantage of lax security surrounding Queen Guinevere and abducts her.

King Pell is not only a rival but also Arthur's cousin. Once Lancelot hears about the kidnapping, he gives chase and disguises himself as a trader to get inside Pell's castle.

Pell and his son Sir Mordred are happy to give Guinevere back to Arthur. They just want some land in exchange such as Northumberland.

The treaty is signed but Lancelot wants revenge for the insult Mordred gave him. Lancelot challenges Mordred to a duel.

There could be another exchange of ownership of Northumberland if Lancelot wins his duel.

I do wonder where the rest of the knights of the round table were. Lancelot goes off to save Guinevere all on his own and get himself locked up. He could had waited for help.

This really is simple storytelling.
