Warning: Spoilers
**SPOILERS** This was a dose of reversals for those of you who like everything clean and clear. First, the judge was a real creep. Oh, he came on like a typical "I'm better than you" class distinctive snob, but underneath he's corrupt and rotten. We all know what happens to rotten foundations, don't we? Next, his wife had ample reason to ice this dork, but did she really do it? Confusing everything is her uncle; a professional magician who is just full of crap.

The Police (Gil) know what they believe, but Jeff finally reduces the dirt to it's final elements and comes up with the winner (or loser, depending on how you look at it). It could have only been one of two people. Pretty good ending, and one more mystery in the telling.

Master Illusionist
bkoganbing3 August 2017
Judge Edmon Ryan hires Roger Smith to find out who stole his pistol and find his murderer if it's used on him.

It is and the police say suicide, but they can't explain why Roger Smith is there and on the case.

Rumored to be corrupt the judge wasn't exactly a lovable guy. He and wife Coleen Gray are splitting up and not amicably.

Then there's Gray's Uncle Gideon played by the man with the built in sneer Henry Daniell. Daniell is a Houdini like magician now retired but he's a master illusionist and full of tricks.

Daniell is the main reason to watch this episode. I always enjoy this man, big screen or small.
