Weak early Stormy the director effort
lor_22 August 2016
Stormy Daniels writes, directs "Private Eyes", a routine detective film spotlighting the talented Felikcia Fox, an actress who never made the big time. This vehicle has very little to recommend it, other than Fox's engaging personality.

Fox is vying with Eric Masterson, who owes his job and opportunities to nepotism, for good cases at a detective agency. Her big chances come with a couple of cases: insurance fraud case and then kidnapping, the details of which are ho-hum. Shady characters encountered include Nicoel Sheridan and real-life hubby Vooddo, while Trina Richads as a hooker has a hot IR scene with Tee Reel. Alslo along for some sex is Katie Morgan as another hooker, getting it on with Mr. Pete, while Charmane Star pops up for a different kind of IR with Manuel Ferrara,

Cameols by Mike Horner and Daniels herself fail to sic up what amounts to porn by the numbers, lacking the depth of most Stormy scripts. Her career is quite uneven, though I'm still interested in seeing all her work in order to ferret out the bright spots. "Private Eyes" is not one of them.
