As the first production quality bodyboarding video i'd ever seen, "Tribal Trials" helped to open my eyes to the level of riding of the day's top riders, at the birthplace of high performance bodyboarding: Sandy Beach, O'ahu. Having the best bodyboarders in the world as your "cast", competing in a revolutionary contest format helped to define this video. The narration was knowledgeable and insightful. The interviews were refreshingly honest and therefore quite entertaining. And the soundtrack matched the action perfectly. I've watched this video over and over and over, it's entertainment value never wanes. As a bodyboarder of 20+ years, this video remains a favorite.
