...and that would be more than I got out of this movie.
This Sri Lankan soap opera does present nice color and general film values but suffers in script and odd camera work.
The story moves slowly, oh so slowly in describing the slow, oh so slow breakup of a young couple. The narrative implies a Rashoman-like telling of the story from the two different points of view but fails to deliver from this viewpoint.
Not dynamic in the very least, but perhaps suited for those who want a thin story with a few interiors from contemporary Sri Lankan life. If you do rent it as part of a "what the hell, let's look at a few!" sort of evening, do be warned that it doesn't pick up as it goes along.
Slow.
