- Croc fights enemies with tail spinning or stomping, much like in the first game.
- instead of turning into a circle of stars when they are defeated, the enemy's bodies will disappear and their eyes will fall to the ground and blink for around 2 seconds before disappearing as well.
- like in the first game they will reappear after a few seconds.
- Croc can get harmed in many different ways, most common is falling into lava where he will shout painfully and bounce off the lava about 3 times before he loses a life. when hurt Croc will flash temporarily and be invulnerable to any additional attack or injury for around 2 seconds. again this is not a violent game.

- the Gobbos in the first part of the game are sailors and they like to drink ginger ale. it is seen in boxes which say ginger soda, so it is not an alcoholic drink.
Frightening & Intense Scenes

- some enemies are more scary in appearance, usually the bosses.
- instead of being smaller the dantinis are now Croc's height and are slightly more intimidating in appearance. although not too much.
- the opening sequence that plays at the beginning of the game could be scary to younger children.
- the final confrontation with Baron Dante could be intense for younger players.
