Kenneth Hurd is the next John Carpenter
rodjrb22 September 2006
A great stylish short deep rooted in the classic slasher style of the 70's and 80's, Hurd sucks his audience in with great visuals smooth flowing directing and a riveting story line that makes Murder Inn the best short slasher of the last decade. someone really have to finance this guy for a feature.

Murder Inn a subtle but at the same time obvious tribute to Hitchcocks Psycho follows unsuspecting guests checking into and never leaving a small motel. The characters are crisp and the directing style is a great reminder of how horror movies used to be done. It reminds me a lot of the style used on John Carpenters Halloween. If you get the chance to see this gem do not pass it up 10/10.
