MALEBOX was produced by WIF.D for the Dallas Video Festival's 24 Hour Video Race. The race began Saturday night, May 14, 2005 at midnight at the Magnolia Lounge, Dallas, TX. At the starting line, the team received the required elements: the theme was "First Class," the location was a mailbox, the prop was a copy of Quick newspaper and the required dialog, "I thought that was fixed a long time ago." The film was ran to the finish line at five minutes to midnight, Sunday, May 15, 2005 by producer, Trayc McKissick and editor, Sam Crutsinger. MALEBOX won third place in the Hollywood Division.

WIF.D has done considerable work on MALEBOX since the video race, with a new sound mix and original music by Mark Menza.

MALEBOX was featured in WIF.D's 4th Annual Chick Flicks, September 13, 2005
