Another Great Movie
mehmetmutluozdemir23 February 2006
This film is one of the excellent films I've ever seen. In this film Turist Ömer goes to Spain in and fins himself in the middle of the arena. He fights a bull and by using chloroform he makes the bull collapse down. In this film Turkish famous singer Erol Büyükburç collaborates with great actor Sadri Alisik. He plays a famous Spanish singer in this movie. However some scenes were shot in Spain and film is about the adventures of a Turkish tramp and Spanish singer, no Spanish is spoken in this film. Everyone speaks a brilliant Turkish even in Spain. I'm afraid the bull would also speak in Turkish if it had the ability to speak. Film is completely in color and musically very beautiful. Turist Omer is a very good character in Turkish cinema. As Chaplin plays the tramp, Raj Kapoor plays the Awaara, Sadri Alisik plays another vagabond 'Turist Ömer'. Turist Ömer is a very lovely tramp character that has no sense for money but a great sense of truth. In this movie Turist finds a wallet full with money and even he is very poor he looks for the real owner of the wallet. So the owner of wallet, the famous Spanish singer who is in Istanbul for a concert thanks him and offers him a vacation in Spain with him and the adventure goes on... Unlikely the tramp of Chaplin Turist Ömer never steals, helps everyone, drinks if he finds, has no problem about women.
