This German documentary is really interesting as it follows different Muscovite families living in a same building in 1993. Beyond the city and sight seeings, the cultural dive, we can discover the inner core of the Russian soul because it's always the same motifs i see : music, meals, Datcha, education and solidarity
Sure some members are rather upper classes but the testimonies of the single mother with a daughter and the young couple were very moving : I'm really wonder what they have become today as they were dreaming and fearing a lot back in 1993 ! Did the couple split finally or was their love more powerful ? How the single family evolve? In addition, when the documentary was shot, politics were still in turmoil as we can see the failed putsch live on their TV ! So it was really fulfilling as we can learn a lot of things that it would be impossible to get without it !
