- One boss called Nevan is a topless siren-like creature with her long hair covering her chest(so nothing actually explicit is shown). If you're worried about it though, she's covered in bats during the actual fight, so if you just skip the cutscene that starts playing when Dante enters the opera house, you won't see anything.
- No actual nudity or sexual content, should have been rated T.
Violence & Gore

- Combat can get pretty bloody as each attack causes blood to spray from most enemies and stain the ground.
- A giant creature has it's head split in half two different ways before then having it's headless body split in half. Very bloody and gory.

- The game generally takes a humorous tone with it's violence, therefore decreasing the impact somewhat, but some scenes are still pretty disturbing.

- This might not be a valid example but a female character is shown making some unintentionally questionable faces while getting stabbed with a bayonet at one point, also one of the bosses is a topless female vampire with long hair covering their cleveage.
Violence & Gore
- In one cutscene, Dante is stabbed through the chest after a fight and then stabbed through again with a much bigger sword, both times have plenty of blood pooling around him.
- A man is stabbed through the chest very suddenly, blood sprays and stains the ground.
- At one point, Dante cuts his way out of a giant monster by cutting through it's eye. Lots of blood sprays and Dante himself is seen almost completely covered in blood.
- A girl shoots Dante in the head several times, each with plenty of blood spraying. However, each time, Dante simply brushes it off and doesn't seem too badly hurt.
- A giant one-eyed monster is blinded, the eye is shown being cut and bleeding.
- Dante gets stabbed multiple times with scythes visibly protruding from his body and bleeding, although he walks it off and doesn't seem too bothered by it.
- A girl is stabbed through the leg with a bayonet, blood is visibly shown pooling around her injured leg.
Frightening & Intense Scenes
- One mission takes place inside a giant monster and eventually ends with the player having to fight it's heart. This mission may be pretty disturbing in context.
- One of the characters is a clown who occasionally appears in cutscenes, the clown appears in 3 levels as a miniboss that the player can fight although only 1 of these fights is required, the other 2 are optional, while the clown was likely intended to be comedic, players with a fear of clowns might find the character unsettling.
