Pasolini of next century
arteficio29 April 2006
Poetic experience at its best. Cinematic explosion of the senses. At times it remembers the outrageous moments of Pier Paolo Pasolini. Psychological voyage thru the human heart! This work of art seems to have touched only a few viewers since most of cinema public has no idea what true cinema is. Mizoguchian shots reveal the search of the main character while "Alice in Wonderland" ghosts refresh its memory of the "mechant" underworlds. The immersion into unconsciousness, by the end, brings us to the universe of magic and liberates the anguish within us. The editing, the photography and the very accurate casting, compensate any lack of structure or basic plot rules, so important in narrative cinema. Non-narrative film "par excellence", it's pure poetry for the 21st century.
