Forgotten but not forgettable. Quite underrated.

This is one of the best movies made before Nepali films became a synonym of cringe. The ideas and elements in this film are appreciable and deserve much more praise than it gets. The elements of romance and horror are blended well. Considering the snapshot view of Nepali cinema, this film is something I would say is amazing. On my personal scale, it gets an "8.8/10" score. On the usual A+ to F scale, it gets an "A".

(Discussion about how I felt about the film - Spoiler free)

Good : The story this movie shows has a romantic and a horror theme and these things haven't been used much in the Nepali movies. Surely, Nepali and Indian movies are quite popular for using a same concept and formula again and again unless the viewers get tired. I don't mean that the concept used in this movie should've seen the same fate. But, I feel that the "different" attempt that this film made wasn't bad, in fact good, and should've recieved the appreciation it deserved. It takes the romantic part and the horror part of the movie and blends it very well. The romantic part was done better than horror part, in my opinion. It felt like real "love" and wasn't romantic in a cheesy and cringe-worthy way. The horror part provides some decent creeps, but the romantic part outweighs the horror part. And, this was basically a love story, so it was good that horror wasn't given an equal priority. The songs included in the film were very good, most of them and quite enjoyable. Pooja Chand as Devi was very good.

Mixed : This movie isn't talked about these days. Surely, it is not among the "popular classics" of Nepali films, like Chino, Deuta, Dakshina, etc. But that doesn't mean it was bad.

Bad : Some parts of the movie feel quite generic, the villains were quite generic in particular. The final fight sequence is atrociously hilarious and over the top. Shree Krishna Shrestha again performs in the way he does. Just misses something really good. Overacting or being too much in many scenes.
