Edward has bee trying to sell his Victorian "Painted Lady" for over a year. Even with the killer view of the city. The rooms look too small because there is too much furniture and other ecliptic items in them. The open house people think it is dark and boring and dated. Modern prints on the fabrics and sophisticated paint colors on the walls bring the old together with the new. Removing furniture and pictures take it from cluttered to classy. People love the look the second open house so much he gets three offers and sells the house.
