Chad Michael Murray has left WME for the Gersh Agency.
The actor, who is best known for starring on the long-running TV hit One Tree Hill, recently wrapped the horror film A Haunting in Georgia. During the height of One Tree Hill's popularity, Murray appeared in a series of high-profile movies like Irwin Winkler's Home of the Brave and the horror film House of Wax opposite Paris Hilton. He is currently filming Cavemen as well as the Forest Whitaker-helmed Fruitvale.

‘The Innkeepers’ Director Ti West Says Sci-Fi Film ‘The Side Effects’ is Financed and Partially Cast
Indie horror director Ti West tends to be divisive. I think that's in part because he has a flair for self-promotion and also because his most well-known film, The House of the Devil, was a very slow burn of a horror/thriller that featured an '80s aesthetic, which led to accusations of pretension and a certain preciousness. But The House of the Devil worked really well for me, so West has become one of the young directors I follow with greater than average interest. His new film [1] The Innkeepers is available via VOD and digital platforms now, and will hit theaters in a limited run on February 3. Ti West is also planning to make a science fiction film, which he's said is about "pharmaceutical testing in space and paranoia," and at one point had the title The Side Effects. Also Has 'Thelma & Louise' Style Script About "Junkie Hookers" He's Looking To Get Financed Aside from the deliberate pacing of his films and their haunting payoffs, Ti West is probably best known for doing exactly what he wants to do, when he wants to do it: after unsuccessfully attempting to remove his name from “Cabin Fever 2” when Lionsgate took the film away from him, he took on another sequel, “A Haunting in Georgia,” before deciding he didn’t want to undertake another project he couldn’t control from conception to completion. And looking at his films so far, he’s flaunted his individuality in the face of the rest of the industry’s genre dreck, avoiding trends or more easily-marketable ideas in favor of singular, original stories. All of which is why it comes as no small surprise that the next story fans will see from him is a segment from a found-footage anthology.
