stunning piece of cinema

I was lucky to see this film in the cinema. Even though it got good reviews by the norwegian press, it was only seen by around 10 000 people. But this is great cinema done with love and passion. The director takes us through a visual journey, and through that voyage we can feel the emotions of the main character, rather than just observe it. Steffan Strandberg is a close friend of Even Benestad who made "All About My Father" And it's clear that these guys have inspired each other when it comes to story telling. But one shouldn't compare the two films. 7 Heaven is something truly magic, an avant-garde documentary which deserves more attention...
