Chennai, March 25: After having made drama and romantic films, National Award-winning director Seenu Ramaswamy is set to make his first action movie.
"The film is based on a popular story by writer S. Ramakrishnan. It tracks the lives of two characters from two different backgrounds and what happens when they cross paths in life. While one of the characters hails from a village, the other one is from the city," Seenu told Ians.
"I have cast Vimal and Vijay Sethupathi keeping in mind the roles they have done in the past. Vimal has played a villager in few films therefore I have made him essay the similar role, while Vijay.

Review: "Devarane"; Actor: Ravishankar, Neethu, Tabala Nani, Sadhu Kokila, Raju Thalikote, Bullet Prakash; Producers: Shivu Kabbina, Lucky Shankar; Writer and director: Lucky Shankar: Music: Sadhu Kokila; Camera: M.R.Seenu; Rating: ** - watch for it's comic moment.
Lucky Shankar's "Devarane" is a sarcastic commentary on how innocent people are exploited by fake god man and politician nexus. It has its moments of entertainment mainly in the first half, but later the narration takes a serious turn even making the audience to introspect over the current developments.
Yet, he has many failings in the film.
The film is fully.
