This is a well-acted and attractively photographed story of Russian politics. Olga steals the valuable papers after her brother Ivan has been injured by a fall. The exterior snow scenes help out the atmosphere of the piece. Later, in the scene where Olga rushes to the defense of Orlanoff, the suspense is good. Claire McDowell and Joseph McDermott are in the cast. - The Moving Picture World, March 28, 1914
