Otis Turner produces a pronounced melodrama. It will strike some observers as if too much stress is laid on the fact that the business man had in former years been a gambler, in other words, that there is hardly sufficient justification for the blackmailer holding up the man he had known in other days. The picture is well staged and will hold throughout. Bob Leonard and Margarita Fischer have the leads. - The Moving Picture World, June 7, 1913
