A pretty strike-breaker who tap dances...just what every husband needs and what every audience hates!

"Strike! You're Out" is a frustrating short film to watch. On one hand, it begins with a VERY clever story idea. But on the other, it does nothing positive with it and completely loses momentum.

The story begins with housewives all going on strike, as they've joined a union and are demanding something...though they never seem to say if it's better working conditions, higher pay, recognition or, perhaps, free tacos. I loved this idea and that the husbands decide to hire 'strike-breaker' women to take their places....it's pretty funny. What I do not understand, however, is what happens next. These strike-breakers all start breaking into dance routines and yodeling...I kid you not. And, the men apparently LIKE listening to yodeling and tap dancing housekeepers (are there conjugal benefits as well??)...and the wives learn their lessons and return...apologizing for being stupid women after all!!

This film must have set back feminism about 1000 years!! I am sure many women watched the short and were sick with its message. I was just sick having a weird story idea ruined by the dancing and god-awful yodeling...yes, yodeling!! Rarely have I seen such a fresh idea completely squandered like this one!! The only possible reason I might recommend it is to see a young Barry Nelson who is the nominal star of this strange film.
