Jim Enright lined up superior femme talent to add life to this otherwise mediocre XXX riff on the Mel Gibson/Helen Hunt hit "What Women Want".
Randy Spears stars as a still photographer who is accidentally mildly electrocuted by a lamp while working, which causes him to suddenly hear what any woman nearby is thinking -telepathy. Since this Wicked DVD bears a production date of four months after the Gibson/Hunt movie was released, give credit to director Enright and his talented screenwriter George Kaplan credit for promptness.
But creativity is largely absent, as rom-com cliches pile up and XXX scenes are generated, some of them glaringly extraneous to the story. Central is Spears bumping into old flame (from college) Sydnee Steele, and the two of them both working on the same project: launching a lingerie campaign for strong-willed business woman Shay Sights: Randy as photographer and Sydnee as head of the ad campaign.
Fleshing out the primo cast are Kylie Ireland (as a redhead) playing Randy's assistant, Jewel De'Nyle as Sydnee's roommate, Krystal Summers and April as lingerie models and even Taylor St. Claire as a bar pick-up by Randy's friend and sidekick Lee Stone. That constitutes seven femmes, all of whom could star in a major Adult movie.
