Worth Watching Again

Fresh off the success of his Kitchen Confidential explosion this iOS the series that lead to all the rest. A young Bourdain uses food to explore culture as hie travels around the globe sharing people's passion for their cuisine and more. Bourdain is the difference between this being a boring cooking show and the ultra cool exploration that it was. This guys was so much to so many people-sad he probably didn't;t fully understand that.

You were an inspiration to many many people and this show was the start of it. It's a great raw documentary of travel, food, culture, linguistics & humanity. A show everyone should see.

This is were it all started. This storm known as Bourdain, blew away my livingroom and changed how I view, television forever. The respect and honesty you brought in each show together with your personality made your work so unique. You made your shows recognicible: We share a good and honest conversation, while sharing food. And that is universal. You made a show about this simpel fact. There is only 1 Bourdain. Let there be Light J.C.!

Something Worth Reading

This show is not as good as his books, also "A Cook's Tour" Or "Kitchen Confidential" because he can't show what really happens on television. This isn't his fault, its the censors of morality. He is one of the most interesting writers that I have read in a while, and some of that does transfer into his show. He travels all around the world, looking for "The Perfect Meal", knowing that this term is not objective. I dislike most of the shows that say they are looking for food in the wild, or adventure and food. This show is not like that AT all. Like I have said before, the books are better, and a good idea is that they should release an uncensored version of this show on DVD. I will be in line to buy it.
