Anthony Bourdain:
As a cook, tastes and smells are my memories, and I'm in search of some new ones. So I'm leaving New York and hoping to have a few epiphanies around the world. I'm looking for extremes of emotion and experience. I'll try anything. I'll risk everything. I have nothing to lose.

This show is not as good as his books, also "A Cook's Tour" Or "Kitchen Confidential" because he can't show what really happens on television. This isn't his fault, its the censors of morality. He is one of the most interesting writers that I have read in a while, and some of that does transfer into his show. He travels all around the world, looking for "The Perfect Meal", knowing that this term is not objective. I dislike most of the shows that say they are looking for food in the wild, or adventure and food. This show is not like that AT all. Like I have said before, the books are better, and a good idea is that they should release an uncensored version of this show on DVD. I will be in line to buy it.
