Hilarious quicky! (8 out of 10)

A man wakes up one morning to find he has numbers 665 written on the side of his head, and that's about as much of the plot I can give away without blowing the hilarious finale of this short film. Fewer obviously had a ball making this and really lives it up playing a whole host of characters, including his own parents, his wife and even his baby. 8 out of 10, Fewer at his wackiest and definately worth a look if you can find it!

Silly

I am really confused about this short film. Most modern shorts are experimental in nature and meant to be training grounds for young directors, writers and actors. However, this film was made by experienced people who didn't need to make the film in order to make a name for themselves. Matt Frewer in particular, who starred in the film, is a very experienced actor with dozens and dozens of roles to his credit (including, uggh, "Max Headroom"). Perhaps he and some buddies just did it on a lark or for fun--I really wish I knew.

The film shows a guy (Frewer) looking into the mirror and noticing a 665 behind his ear! When he calls his mom, she tells him that his father had a 664. Could this mean that Frewer's young son could be the anti-Christ?! Funny, very irreverent and strange--this is one strange but mildly enjoyable film.

Wacky Comedy with a weird twist at the end.

What is there to say about this movie. It's insanely brilliant in it's own way. THis guy, Nathan, wakes up in the morning to find he has this weird mark behind his ear. Upon closer examination he finds out it is a number...# 665. Upon calling his mother he finds out his father was number 664, and he fears what his sons number could be.

This movie is very funny, not only does the actors antics make this movie what it is, but also the hidden puns that the movie contains. Most of the humor, however won't be understood until the end (which i wont reveal). You will have to see the movie yourself (i suggest doing a gaggle search) and form your own opinion, however i found 6ix to be quite an entertaining little film, full of slapstick comedy and witty humour for all to enjoy.

My hands-down single favourite short-film of all time
bobconstans7 February 2010
The very first time I caught this film (on Space)I knew I wanted a copy so I could watch it over and over and share it with friends and family. I was able to record it on video (between showings of the two American Werewolf movies), but not exactly convenient. Since then, I've been looking for a copy online and it took me more than 5 years - partly due to not knowing the exact title. Ha. 6ix is a brilliantly written and executed film, that also has great acting - and not just because Frewer plays all the parts, which is an achievement by itself. Never has so short a film provided so many great lines with such simple precision. It takes a lot of viewings before you get everything out of it and it still requires one to pause the film in order to quit laughing so you don't miss anything. And the details! The stuff in the background alone is enough to impress, and the bit with credits and the radio over-track are icing on the cake. I wish I could write half as well.

Wacky, devilish fun!

Matt Frewer stars in this darkly funny short about man whose morning takes a supernatural turn when he suddenly discovers the number 665 carved behind his right ear. Upon learning the origin of this unique birthmark, he comes to realize that there's a good chance his baby son might be Lucifer himself.

Throughout 6IX's eleven minute running time, it somehow succeeds in being humorous, spooky, and intelligent--a unique blend of comedy and paranoia-themed horror that many full-length movies strive for but can't attain. Moreover, the film's overall atmosphere is effectively creepy and surreal, and the photography is simply outstanding. Frewer plays his five roles flawlessly and with a suitable touch of genial eccentricity. All in all, 6IX succeeds in all departments, from its stylish opening shot right down to its goofy closing credits.

One of the best short films ever!

6ix is a great short film about three little numbers and what they mean to one family. This short film starts out innocently enough, then it whacks you with Matt Frewer's brand of comedy! Brilliant I wish I had the foresite to tape it. By the way It was aired on Space (Canada's Sci/Fi channel)
