The Muppets get real
sparker-615 September 2002
A biting and direct parody of two gay muppets, clear enough stereotypes for anyone choosing to acknowledge it, that plays it for all its worth. Although it has a very old-fashioned gays-are-never-happy kind of ending it still cleverly plays on the stereotypes.

Great musical score by Spencer Day.

Sad, Disturbing, but funny.
Futurama_Fanatic22 May 2009
I happened to find this controversial film online. And I was on a mission to watch all banned films in the USA, so I decided to watch it. And it was sick, sad, disturbing, putrid, and so many other terms. But funny.

It begins with Ernie coming home to Bert however he noticed that Miss Piggy wasn't there. It was because of the rumors that Bert and Ernine were gay... Ernie is, however Bert isn't... And I won't say the ending, but it is rather sad.

The Muppets actually look like the actual ones besides being life-size instead of puppets. And I love how it makes them seem like real people in real life. So if you manage to find this film online, watch it. (Before the cops find out!!!)

Overall: 7/10
