I am writing about the actual MISS VENEZUELA show shown each year in October on the Spanish channel.

About 6 or 7 years ago I was channel surfing and stumbled upon the MISS VENEZUELA show. Although there was no English translation, I was amply entertained. The MISS VENEZUELA show inspired me explore the assortment of programming found on the Spanish channel, and soon I found the CELIENTE Spanish bikini dancing show on every Saturday (now called DESCONTROL) and there you have it -- a reason to live! -- it is just that good! Every week I look forward to the Spanish bikini dancing show on each Saturday, and every year I look forward to the MISS VENEZUELA show on each October.

About the MISS VENEZUELA show, yes it seems true that the contestants with the most plastic surgery win and become finalists. But still, it is a pleasure to see the natural contestants who are simply amazing.

There are more contestants with wondrous point-seven hip-to-waist ratios than in Miss Universe, Miss USA, and Teen USA combined. When a MISS VENEZUELA contestant walks, it is like a bell swinging way to one side, and then to the other. 16:9 wide screen is needed to capture all of the hip swinging.

The American Miss America and Miss Universe shows have more revealing bathing suits, but the MISS VENEZUELA show has more attractive contestants.

Why do the contestants with the most plastic surgery win? Why do the contestants with the least plastic surgery are doomed to wear the most buffoonish evening dresses? My theory is that those with plastic surgery are full-time career professional contestants, while those who don't go for operations are not inside staffers. The insiders ALWAYS win.
