Don't give up on this one....keep watching 'til the end

This short film is about an escaped maniac running about an apartment building. It begins with a lady in an apartment when there's a knock on the door. The guy claims to be a cop and she let him even though he is wearing plain clothes. He informs her that the maniac is loose and asks if he can use the phone. His call doesn't exactly sound like an official call and you start wondering if he's a cop. You also wonder how stupid a woman can be for letting this guy in the apartment. Fortunately, what I thought was happening wasn't, and the film ending with a few interesting twists.

This is a very well made film. About the only deficits were minor ones--an adequate musical score and the film looked a bit cheap. However, given the budgetary limitations, this is a terrific little film and I could easily overlook these aspects. I hope to see more from the team making this film.

Trista makes this short good
movieman_kev30 April 2005
A man claiming to be a police detective (Raymond Karl) is on the search for a killer whom he believes to be in an apartment building in this 6 minute and 23 second short. He enters Trista Dylan's apartment. I thought I had the ending guessed, but I was wrong, so I enjoyed this short. Plus it doesn't hurt in the least that Trista is very easy on the eyes. I enjoyed that as well. She should star in a feature film, yea I know that she was in "A Little Bit of Lipstick", but I mean she should be the main player in a movie. She's one to keep on the lookout for.

My Short Grade: B
