Observation Train Following Parade (1898)

This Edison film lasts around twenty-seconds so obviously you shouldn't be expecting any plot, action or anything else for that matter. Basically a cameraman is on what appears to be the top of a building and shooting down where a parade has just finished. There's really not too much to see because the camera is so far away from the actual people. So because of this you can't see what they're wearing, what they're doing or anything else. The film does give you a terrific overall view of the scene and this at least gives you an idea of how many people were actually there.

You can view this film and others like it at The Library of Congress.
