Rocco is an excellent choice in the title role

Oscar Wilde's character has had a durable life in horror movies, even returning recently in a surprisingly central role in Showtime's recent hit series "Penny Dreadful". Rocco Siffredi is not obvious casting, but proves highly effective in this cock-centric version of the tale shot in Hungary.

I have seen several features by the prolific German pornographer "Moli" (Walter Molitor) and he delivers craftsmanship rather than inspiration. The period costumes, beautifully styled babes and brief action scenes lift his work up from the morass of gonzo all-sex crap, as prevalent in Europe as here in Chatworth porn land.

Apart from Siffredi, the cast is made up local Hungarians, and the girls provide natural bodies and fresh faces that I found appealing, especially since so much Euro porn of this era takes on an assembly-line look. A busty redhead was my favorite co-star, and the male cast provides okay sounding boards for our hero. Main frustration is that the film ends only halfway through the story with a sequel broadcast, but my chances of finding and seeing Part 2 are nil.

Recommended for Siffredi fans who like to see him acting, rather than his more usual elaborate gonzo spectacles.
